Supposed Mockup Shows iPhone 13 Have Notchless Display And USB C

Ioshackz.com Supposed Mockup Shows iPhone 13 Have Notchless Display And USB-C Port There are still a few months before the release of the iPhone 12 this year, and rumors about iPhone 13 have begun to surface. Japanese website Macotakara today shared what they claim to be a 3D printed mockup of a 5.5-inch iPhone that’s coming in 2021, and will most likely to be called “iPhone 13.”

The mockup was created based on data from Alibaba, a Chinese e-commerce company. Macotakara goes on to say this prototype’s case dimensions are identical to the 5.4-inch 2020 iPhone, only with a slightly larger 5.5-inch screen.

This iPhone has notch completely eliminated, and the FaceTime camera is located in the middle of the top. Macotakara said that iPhone 13 may utilize Samsung’s new under-panel sensor technology, which allows the camera to be mounted under the screen.

It would appear from the images that the iPhone 13 would also have ultra-thin bezels. The back casing of the phone has a reserved position only for the camera module, which can be used to test different camera modules. Last month, leaker @choco bit predicted that next year’s iPhone 13 will sport a quad-lens rear camera system and a LiDAR scanner.

Finally, the mockup appears to be using the USB-C port instead of the lightning port. Leaker also predicts that next year’s iPhone will drop all ports and use Smart Connector wireless charging for data synchronization.

While Apple tests its products well in advance, they could still tweak things on occasion, so do take this with a grain of salt.
