Ioshackz.com Repot: New iMac And iPad Models To Launch In The Second Half Of 2020 Apple plans to launch new iMac and iPad models in the second half of this year, reports DigiTimes.
However, a few days ago, proven-to-be reliable leaker Sonny Dickson claimed that Apple to release the new iMac at WWDC 10 days later. Though Dickson may be meant that the iMac would be announced at WWDC, therefore, it’s possible the release time may be delayed by several months.
The new iMac would look similar to the Pro Display XDR and will be getting a smaller SSD with a larger traditional hard drive to level speed and capacity. Apple will also add a T2 security chip to the new iMac, while the all-in-one desktop has been rumored to use the Navi-based AMD graphics card.
DigiTimes said that Apple will launch 10.8-inch iPad Air and 8.x-inch iPad mini in the fall of 2020, and will release 12.9-inch iPad Pro with a mini-LED screen in the first half of next year.
The new 10.8-inch iPad Air suppliers will include LG Display, BOE, and Sharp.
Apple has announced that it will hold its online-based WWDC event on June 22, where the company is expected new operating systems for the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac, and Apple TV.
