iOS 14 Beta Suggests iPhone 12 Would Feature Higher Refresh

Ioshackz.com iOS 14 Beta Suggests iPhone 12 Would Feature Higher Refresh Rate Display Apple released iOS 14 and many other updates at the WWDC Keynote event on Monday. Now, Twitter user @JunoTecho discovered that there’s an option to limit the refresh rate to 60 frames in the Settings app on his iPhone 11 Pro Max running on iOS 14.

The iPhone 11 series does not use a high refresh rate display, so this indicates that Apple has prepared an iPhone model that would come with a higher refresh rate display, namely the upcoming iPhone 12 series.

This option, Limit Refresh Rate, exists in the iOS 14 Settings-Accessibility-Motion section, but not all iOS 14 models have this option, including leaker Ben Geskin’s iPhone 11. However, it does exist on an iPad Pro with a 120Hz high refresh rate display.

Previously, Ross young, the CEO of the display analysis agency DSCC, broke the news that the iPhone 12 Pro/Pro Max Display will support 120Hz + high refresh rate. This news was subsequently endorsed by the proven-to-be reliable leaker Jon Prosser.

The iPhone 12 series is expected to be available in three sizes and a total of four different models, including 4G and 5G versions, and will be released later this year.
