Ioshackz.com Apple Releases Fifth Developer Beta Of iOS 14, watchOS 7, And tvOS 14. Apple today released the fifth beta of iOS and iPadOS 14, two weeks after the company released the third beta to developers for testing purposes. Meanwhile, Apple has also pushed out the fifth beta of watchOS 7 and tvOS 14.

Developers can download the proper configuration profile from the Apple Developer Center to install the betas. To update to iOS 14 beta5, you can do that by going to Settings -> General -> Software Update. For developers who want to test watchOS 7 beta 5, which can be installed through the Watch app on the iPhone, then General > Software Update, while tvOS 14 betas can be downloaded using Xcode.

Today’s beta 5 releases introduce a new ‌Apple News‌ widget option that has a taller window to display more stories, however, the widget can’t be used on the home screen due to its size. Also new that’s related to the widget is there’s now a popup that asks if you want to allow widgets for those apps to also use your location data.

iOS 14 beta 5 also brought Clock Wheel scrolling when setting an alarm. The UI for Exposure Notifications has changed in ‌iOS 14‌ beta 5, which will let you know if an Exposure Notification app is available for your area. Finally, there is a new Hidden Album setting, which allows you to disable the Hidden Album in the Photos app.

But, other than that, it’s not clear what new features and changes are included in the fourth beta of watchOS 7 and tvOS 14. However, if you have found anything that’s new, please let us know by leaving a comment down below.
