Ioshackz.com Apple Confirms Boot Camp Will Not Available On Apple Silicon Macs According to The Verge, an Apple vice president confirmed that the Boot Camp will not be available on Apple Silicon-based Macs.

Now, Apple has confirmed that enabling Mac users to use Windows’ Boot Camp tool will not appear on new Macs utilizing ARM chips, suggesting that users will need to use other virtualization software.

Boot Camp, first introduced on Mac OS 10.5 Leopard in 2006, when Apple had just switched from PowerPC to Intel processors. Boot Camp is a multi-boot software released by Apple to help users install Microsoft Windows operating systems on Apple computers with built-in Intel processors. The software includes a non-destructive split disk tool and a driver CD image file that supports Windows. In addition to these drivers, a Windows console is included to facilitate setting up the user’s main operating system.

Microsoft recently also said that it will only grant Windows 10 ARM licenses to OEM manufacturers.
